Earth day

This year we did it again!
We could not stop commemorating the EARTH DAY in the way that is already a tradition for us, planting, this time in the Metropolitan Park Guangüiltagua in Quito.
It is a way of recognizing that we must do more to take care of our planet, by planting we contribute to mitigate the impacts of climate change and create conditions for a recovery of biodiversity.
We planted 65 polylepis incana, it may seem few, but it was a hard work with students from COLEGIO MANUELA CAÑIZARES, because the soil was very muddy, and it was not easy to dig each hole.
A big THANK YOU goes to the students of the MANUELA who accompanied us, thanks also to the teachers and their Rector, who have committed themselves to our work, thanks also to FUNDACIÓN JOCOTOCO who donated the trees, to the EPMMOP and to the authorities of the Parque Metropolitano Guangüiltagua for allowing us to plant in the Ashintaco ravine of the park and thus work together for our city.
